As a Test Engineer, you navigate Google's massive codebase, identify weak spots and constantly design better and creative ways to break software and identify potential problems. You'll have a huge impact on the quality of Google's growing suite of products and services.

In this role, you will be in one or all of the following product families: Phones, Laptops, Virtual Reality, Homes, and Devices. You will manage one of the key consumer satisfaction metrics functional performance of Google's consumer electronic products, specifically focusing on optics/display/camera/computer vision. You will design and develop manufacturing test solutions to balance engineering and operational priorities. You will use your expertise in testing and testability to influence product design, promote best engineering practices, and drive quality and user experience improvements.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$174,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
