Ophthalmology Physician

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Ophthalmologist to work locum shifts in Grand Forks, North Dakota (ND) StartingNovember, or as soon as credentialed, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Ophthalmology role:

• Dates Needed: November 30, 2025 - December 7, 2025 (Start/End: 8:00 AM)

• Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (clinic + pager call)
  • Saturday-Sunday: 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)

• Setting: Hospital-based practice at a Level II Trauma Center

EMR: EPIC

• Must be able to perform:
  • Intravitreal injections for retinal conditions (e.g., macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy)
  • Cataract surgery
  • Trauma care in clinic

REQUIRED:

ND license or IMLC with LOQ in hand

Board Certified in Ophthalmology

DEA

Must provide case logs showing 60 procedures in the past 12 months
