We are looking for a dedicated Ophthalmic Photographer to join our dynamic team. The role involves obtaining patient history, conducting visual acuity tests, and documenting findings. You will work closely with other clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow, perform Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and OCT Angiography (OCTA), conduct Intravenous Fluorescein Angiography (IVFA) and Indocyanine Green Angiography (ICG), and maintain accurate records. You will also be responsible for capturing fundus, anterior segment, and external photographs.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document detailed patient history.
• Conduct and document visual acuity tests.
• Ensure efficient patient flow in collaboration with clinical staff.
• Perform OCTs and OCTA.
• Conduct IVFA and ICG procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Capture high-quality fundus, anterior segment, and external photos.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in photography and fundus photography.
• Experience with OCTs.
• Knowledge of ophthalmology.
• Strong computer skills.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relevant experience.
• CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• COA, OCT-C, CRA certifications preferred.

Work Environment

The work schedule is from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with shifts scheduled according to clinic needs. Training will take place at the administrative building in the Galleria. You will be part of a team working with 8-24 other individuals, supporting up to three clinics: Bellaire, Cypress, Katy, and Sugarland. Bellaire is the primary location, known for its fast-paced environment, seeing over 100 patients a day. The dress code requires navy blue scrubs, short groomed nails, and hair tied back. Mileage will be reimbursed if travel beyond the three primary clinics is required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bellaire, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
