Machine Operator

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Machine Operators in our Detroit facility for a Three Rivers production project. This role involves assisting with machine operation and ensuring the smooth functioning of production processes.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload CNC machines or presses.
• Use hand tools to assemble parts on a line.
• Measure parts to ensure they are within tolerance.
• Add covers to finished axles before they go through the paint line.

Essential Skills:

• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to consistently lift 40 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Steel-toed boots or shoes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Candidates should be comfortable lifting axles and other materials, sometimes over their head.

Work Environment:

The work environment is a clean and well-lit warehouse or production floor where safety is a top priority. The dress code includes jeans, a shirt without logos or vulgar language, and steel-toed boots. The position is on the 1st shift, running Monday through Friday with potential mandatory overtime, currently operating 6 days a week.

Job Type & Location:

This is a contract to hire position based out of Detroit, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
