Operating Superintendent - Excavation & Grading

Job Description
We are urgently looking for an experienced Operating Superintendent for a well-established excavation and grading contractor in the Kansas City area. This is a long-term role with steady local work - home every night.
What You'll Do:
• Lead crews on commercial, residential, and mining excavation/grading projects
• Operate equipment while managing daily field operations
• Coordinate with PMs, clients, and inspectors to keep projects on track
• Enforce safety, schedule, and quality standards on site
What They're Looking For:
• 5+ years of field leadership in excavation and grading
• Ability to read plans and manage crews and schedules
• Skilled equipment operator with strong communication and organization
