Position Summary
The Department ofRadiology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is seeking anoutstanding individual to join our Abdominal Imaging section. Discover what makes this remarkable academic medicalcenter one of the best places to work in the Southwest!
This position alsooffers the opportunity to apply for the Abdominal Section Chief.
In-person, hybrid, andremote options all available, as well as academic and staff (100% clinical)positions.
Clinicalresponsibilities encompass primary diagnostic and consultative service inAbdominal and Oncologic Imaging (X-ray/Fluoro, CT, MRI, US) for exams performedat multiple locations, but no interventional procedures. Section memberstypically rotate at our adjacent NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center andparticipate in clinical consultations, tumor boards and multidisciplinary conferences.Research opportunities include diverse and growing translational imaging andimage processing facilities and are supported by dedicated research andpublications staff.
In person, hybrid, andremote positions are available. Allapplicants welcome, including those seeking J-1 waiver/H-1B sponsorship.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements for this position are as follows:
•MD, DO, or equivalent
•Able to obtain state licensure in the state of New Mexico
•Abdominal/body/oncologic imaging fellowship, completed by contract start date, or comparable experience
•ABR board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by contract start date
Preferred Qualifications are as follows:
•A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and learner success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities
•Desire to work in an academic radiology practice with residents and fellows
