About The Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS, Central Line certification preferred Must-Have: Oncology experience preferred, but not required Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in oncology. This position requires the clinician to provide infusion therapy and care to patients with cancer. The nurse will be responsible for accessing ports, dressing changes, and drawing labs. Central Line certification is required for this role. Although oncology experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Nurses are expected to float as needed to various locations within the service line. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:20. There are no weekend requirements for this position. This facility is a Magnet and teaching hospital. The environment includes interdisciplinary support with social services and pharmacy. The daily census consists of both inpatient and outpatient visits. Candidates must adhere to attendance policies, including limits on tardiness and call-ins.
