Locums - Radiation Oncologist OpeningLocation: Laurinburg, North CarolinaStart Date: October 27, 2025Duration: OngoingCoverage Needed: Full-Time (will consider 2 weeks/month) Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
One admin day per week
One "under-treat" day (no clinic, beam only: 15-20 patients)
No Call Required
Must be on-site daily for radiation treatment oversight
Peer review required with second Radiation Oncologist for all new starts

Licensing & Certifications

Board Certified in Radiation Oncology - Required
North Carolina Medical License - Required
BLS - Required
DEA (Unrestricted) - Required
CSR - Not Required

Experience & Skills

2-3 years of experience preferred
Will consider strong new grads
Required skills:
- IGRT & IMRT
- Eclipse Treatment Planning
- TrueBeam familiarity
- Comfortable with peer review and oversight processes

Clinical Details

Patient Volume:
- Up to 2 consults and 8 follow-ups/day
Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics (18+)
EMR: Epic

Department Overview

Outpatient, comprehensive radiation oncology department
Integrated with medical oncology for collaborative care
Support staff includes:
- Dosimetrist & Physicist (on-site)
- Oncology RN
- Navigator

Technology & Procedures

Procedures Performed: IMRT, IGRT, 3D-CRT, SRS/SBRT
Equipment:
- Varian TrueBeam
- Eclipse Treatment Planning System
- MIM Software
- Aria
