As an Oncology Senior Acute Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for cleanroom procedures, IV preparation for hazardous and non-hazardous drugs, and inventory management. This role includes daily interactions with pharmacist staff, as well as nursing. You will become a member of a multidisciplinary team at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center at BUMC-Phoenix. We offer a fast-paced, collaborative work environment specializing in chemotherapy compounding. On the forefront of prevention, treatment and research, our oncology services work tirelessly for our patients dealing with all types of cancer. From detection and diagnosis to treatment and bedside care, we work to make our patients' lives better as we aim to prevent and cure cancer.

As an Oncology Infusion Senior Acute Pharmacy Technician, you will be supported by chemotherapy trained Pharmacy Technicians, Staff Oncology Pharmacists, Clinical Oncology Pharmacists, and an Associate Director of Pharmacy. Must have sterile compounding experience, IV chemotherapy compounding experience strongly preferred.

This is a full-time, day shift position working five 8-hour shifts per week from 6:00am-2:30pm or 6:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday with possible weekend and holiday rotations.
