Catering & Sales Manager

Concord Hospitality is seeking a proactive and results-driven Catering & Sales Manager to lead social and corporate catering events, including guest room bookings. This role combines sales, event management, and guest service, with a focus on maximizing revenue and delivering exceptional experiences. A flexible schedule, including weekends (and peak-season TuesdaySaturday), is required.

Key responsibilities include: selling and managing social and corporate catering events, including guest rooms, banquet food & beverage, and upselling contracted groups; negotiating contracts, suggesting menus, and coordinating room setups according to policy and client needs; collaborating with hotel departments to ensure flawless event execution and guest satisfaction; generating new business through solicitation, networking, and follow-up with past clients; finalizing and distributing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and maintaining accurate event records; leading pre-event, on-site, and post-event communications to ensure service excellence; monitoring budgets, sales quotas, and revenue opportunities; implementing strategies to increase catering revenue during low-demand periods; conducting site tours for prospective clients and facilitating client meetings as needed; and training, delegating, and guiding staff to ensure smooth operation of events and service standards.

Qualifications include: minimum 2 years experience in catering sales, hotel convention services, banquet management, hotel sales, or culinary arts (or equivalent combination of education and experience); strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills; ability to work a flexible schedule and thrive in a fast-paced environment; and a guest-focused attitude with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
