• Preferred candidates will have 1-3 years of outpatient therapy experience. New graduates with relevant fieldwork experience will also be considered.
• Work 40 hours per week, hourly, Monday through Friday at our Janesville Clinic location.

Role Overview: You will evaluate and treat patients facing physical, emotional, cognitive, and psychosocial challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ abilities to perform daily living skills safely and effectively, designing tailored care plans.
• Implement treatment modalities, track patient progress, and adapt care plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment goals and adaptive equipment.
• Supervise care provided by support staff and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Maintain a safe and alert working environment.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field as required for state licensure.

Experience:

• No prior experience is required.

Physical Requirements:

• Constant standing, frequent lifting (0-25 lbs), and good communication skills.
• Frequent use of vision for close work and distance, as well as auditory skills.
• Frequent walking, reaching, and data entry.
• Occasional tasks such as bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional patient handling and driving tasks, and rare crawling.

Licensure & Certifications:

Must obtain Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification within 90 days of employment. Additional state-specific licenses are required.
