Position Available: McLean and Arlington, VA (part-time and PRN options included).

Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment: Evaluate clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive capabilities through observation and standardized assessments.
Treatment and Education: Create personalized treatment plans that align with clients' goals and enhance functional abilities. Provide education to clients and families on daily activities, adaptive equipment, and necessary modifications.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans while ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Advocacy and Support: Advocate for clients’ needs and assist them in accessing community resources and accommodations.

Qualifications:

Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Licensure: Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or eligibility for licensure.
Skills: Proficient clinical assessment and treatment planning skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a focus on patient-centered care.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and assist patients as necessary, with the capability to stand for extended periods and perform related physical tasks.
