Occupational Therapist I - PRN Orthopedics

Pay: $38.72 - $58.08 / hour. Pay is based on candidate's relevant experience.

Summary: Join our dedicated team as an Occupational Therapist I in Orthopedics. In this role, you will evaluate and treat various patient needs, contributing positively to their recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and document initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions.
• Develop and implement a personalized plan of care that addresses the identified issues, engaging patients and their families.
• Provide education to patients and their families about therapy-related deficits and assist with the selection and use of appropriate adaptive equipment.
• Assist with patient discharge planning from therapy services and treatment settings.
• Supervise support personnel according to established licensing laws, state regulations, and practice standards.
• Utilize critical thinking and decision-making skills while working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (Master's degree preferred).
• Required Licensure/Certification: Active licensure with Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Occupational Therapy and Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
• Minimum Experience: None required.
• BLS or CPR certification must be obtained prior to the start date, with a validity of at least sixty days from hire.
