We are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist - Hand Rehabilitation Specialist to join our dynamic team in Janesville and at our East Clinic locations. Position Highlights:

• Work in a collaborative environment with a team of highly skilled certified hand therapists and gain direct experience with hand surgeons and advanced practitioners.

• Receive a sign-on bonus of $10,000 for qualified external candidates (2-year commitment with SSM Health).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess musculoskeletal, neurological, and physiological functioning.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Design and fabricate orthotics and adaptive equipment, utilizing a variety of treatment modalities including exercise, manual therapy, and rehabilitation techniques.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes and progress, ensuring they are equipped for successful transitions from therapy.
• Maintain a safe and alert working environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of practice.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field, meeting licensing requirements.
• A minimum of three years of occupational therapy experience in a rehabilitative setting.
• Possession of relevant state licenses and certifications, including Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) status.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand constantly while providing care.
• Frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs, with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent walking, reaching, gripping, and keyboard use, with occasional driving.
