Overview

OB/Gyn hospitalist opportunity at JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey. Join our team at JFK Medical Center – Edison as part of an OB/Gyn hospitalist and outpatient clinic team.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour in-house OB/Gyn hospitalist coverage with shifts, plus occasional daytime full-scope OB/Gyn services in the family medicine residency clinic.
• Support prenatal patients seen in the clinic by integrating inpatient care through the hospitalist team; coordinate care with nursing, certified nurse midwives, and family medicine residents in the outpatient setting.
• Manage gynecologic surgical cases arising from the clinic with the OB/Gyn hospitalist team; provide ED and inpatient GYN consultations as needed.

Qualifications

• Board-certified OB/GYN with active and current skills across the OB/GYN specialty.
• Current New Jersey license to practice.
• Willingness to teach medical students and family medicine residents.
• Ability to partner with nursing and support CNMs and FM residents in outpatient settings.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive compensation with an estimated base hourly range of $160 to $160, plus potential additional compensation through RVU incentive plan.
