Responsibilities: As the Nutritional Services Manager, you will oversee the food service program, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and customer service. Your role will include:

• Leading and supporting the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintaining accurate records related to finances, food supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Conducting staff training and quality control sessions; stepping in as needed for dietary aide, cook, or dishwasher duties.
• Effectively communicating directives from management to the HCSG staff.
• Using protective gear and following safety procedures to ensure a sanitary working environment.
• Ensuring compliance with infection control and sanitation protocols.
• Maintaining consistent punctuality and completing tasks on time.
• Representing HCSG positively through courteous interactions with all stakeholders.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Associate's degree or higher in food service management or related field.
• Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and personnel supervision preferred.
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred, or as required by state law.
• Ability to obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) certification within the first 14 days of employment and other certifications within the first 60 days.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A positive attitude and effective communication skills with staff and residents.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform routine tasks.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining records and reports.
• Residency within the service area is required.
