The posted compensation range of $15.67 - $22.14 per hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit Health in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit Health may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

The responsibilities of this position include:

1. Visiting patients to confirm daily menu selection, all patient food and diet related needs. Communicating diet-related needs to clinical team members.
2. Accurately completing patient tray process: menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery to patients and pickup as assigned, special request and off-time meal deliveries.
3. Transporting ReTherm cart (and/or room service transport cart) to and from the Food and Nutrition department, patient rooms and various hospital locations.
4. Working cooperatively with team members, patients, and patient unit staff; coordinating customer services.
5. Ensuring Patient Satisfaction score for the department is met.
6. Ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient information from written and verbal communication. Communicating appropriately to the diet office staff.
7. Promoting customer satisfaction by courteous, confidential service. Resolving all customer requests in a timely manner. Conducting Hospitality Rounds following each meal. Providing caring and responsive service to patients on a daily basis.
8. Inventories, gathers, and delivers floor stock to units as designed by each facility.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care in a hospital setting and/or 1 year minimum in food service.
• Knowledge equivalent to a high school education.
