Nursing Assistant II - Integrated Health Services

Job Summary:
The Nursing Assistant II supports medical clinic operations and administrative functions, including surveillance exams, case management, patient care, documentation, and coordination with external providers. The role also includes supporting corporate programs and maintaining compliance with safety, licensing, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform surveillance exams (e.g., hearing conservation, respirator, thermal stress) and track completion for compliance.
• Operate medical equipment and perform testing (e.g., vital signs, immunizations, phlebotomy, drug/alcohol testing, COVID testing, glucose testing, EKGs, PFTs, audiometry).
• Assist with case management, including scheduling, documentation, and communication with providers.
• Document all medical interactions in the EMR system.
• Support wellness events such as immunization clinics, health fairs, and blood drives.
• Attend required site and corporate meetings and trainings.
• Assist providers with medical care, including emergencies and treatments.
• Package and arrange medical waste pickup.
• Schedule medical appointments and respond to calls and requests.
• Track and manage surveillance/employment exams.
• Scan, fax, copy, ship, and prepare documentation for internal and external use.
• Upload documentation into EMR and manage records storage/retrieval.
• Maintain access to vendor accounts and reporting systems.
• Manage clinic supplies and equipment (ordering, expiration checks, monthly testing, QC, calibrations, temperature monitoring).
• Complete assigned iLearn trainings.
• Communicate professionally with employees, supervisors, clinicians, and partners.
• Provide employees with corporate benefits contact information.
• Monitor disability and restriction claim timelines.
• Process vendor invoices, billing, and expense reports.
• Support corporate programs and projects including data collection and account setup.
• Provide remote administrative support to other sites as needed.
• Assist with meeting content and business needs.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the Global Medical Leader.
Required Qualifications:
• MA – required.
• BLS – required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Written and verbal fluency in English.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• On-call responsibility.
Certifications:
• MA certification – required.
• BLS certification – required.
• CAOHC – preferred.
• BAT – preferred.
• NIOSH – preferred.
Education: Bachelors Degree
