Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized nuclear medicine procedures for accurate radiological diagnosis.
• Administer radio-pharmaceuticals and medications to facilitate patient imaging and therapeutic procedures.
• Operate CT scanners as part of nuclear medicine exams (if PET certified).
• Provide high-quality images and data analysis for diagnostic interpretation.
• Enhance digital images using advanced computer technology.
• Ensure technical quality and calibration of equipment.
• Assist in maintaining accreditation with the American College of Radiology.
• Conduct quality control tasks and manage daily department operations to ensure continuous patient care.
• Review patient data to guarantee proper setup and verify the relevance of ordered studies.
• Educate and reassure patients regarding procedures to ensure their understanding and safety.
• Review technical accuracy of examinations and communicate findings to the responsible care team.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (for PET technology)
• CT Certification to be completed within 180 days of hire
• 1+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in radiography, radiology, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine

Salary: The hourly range for this position is $28.03 to $54.95, dependent on education, experience, and certifications.
