Location: 100 S Bedford Road, Mount Kisco, 10549

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized nuclear medicine procedures and examinations for radiological diagnosis
• Administer radio-pharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures
• Operate computed tomography (CT) scanners that are used in conjunction with nuclear medicine procedures (PET technologists only)
• Provide images, data analysis and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures
• Process data and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology
• Evaluate images to determine the technical quality and calibration of instrumentation
• Evaluate new protocols
• Assist in the completion of the accreditation process for the American College of Radiology (ACR) every 3 years
• Perform quality control and reporting tasks, set up and conduct procedures, maintain day-to-day schedules, assist radiologist, and contribute to the efficient operation of the department ensuring quality and continuity of patient care
• Acquire patients chart data/requisitions and review to determine correct room setup and learn of any specific medical problems, contraindications to the study and verify that the study being ordered correlates to the diagnostic needs
• Educate patients regarding procedure, equipment and exam to ensure understanding and safety
• Review each examination for technical accuracy, present completed examinations to radiologist, and communicate pertinent data to persons responsible for the care of patients following the procedure

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) certification
• Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (PET technologists only)
• CT Certification within 180 days of hire
• 1+ years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or Baccalaureate degree in radiography, radiology, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine

New York Residents Only: The hourly range for New York residents is $28.03 to $54.95 per hour.
