• 338 hospital beds
• 25 ED beds
• 34 hour physician coverage
• 36 hour NP/PA coverage
• Level III trauma center
• Providers are expected to respond to codes, intubations, and death pronouncements

Citizens Medical Center is a not-for-profit hospital known for compassionate patient care, clinical expertise, and bringing advanced medical services to the South Texas. Citizens Medical Center is a 338-bed acute care hospital with over 1,200 employees. The facility is recognized for its outstanding cardiology program which includes an accredited Chest Pain Center and an approved STEMI receiving center for heart attack patients. Other nearby colleges include Texas Lutheran University and Wharton County Junior College. Victoria is less than 2.5 hours south of Austin and San Antonio.
