Position Details:

• Role: Teacher for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing
• Schedule: 34 days per week
• Student Load: Teacher of Record for 11 students, Teacher of Service for 6 (Total: 16 students)
• Location: Greenwood, IN
• Pay: $50$55/hour (based on experience and credentials)

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
• Valid state teaching certificate
• Proficiency in ASL and use of amplification devices
• Experience with deaf and hard-of-hearing students (preferred)
• ASL proficiency exam or certification (may be required)
• CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
