Are you passionate about empowering visually impaired students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally? Join a dedicated team in Greenwood, Indiana, where you'll work across PK12 school buildings, providing both direct and consultative services to students with a range of needs.

Position Overview:

• Role: Teacher for the Visually Impaired
• Location: Greenwood, IN
• Schedule: 23 days per week, starting ASAP
• Pay: $50/hour
• Caseload:
• Teacher of Record for 4 students with Blind Low Vision (BLV) eligibility
• Teacher of Service for 11 students with other primary eligibilities
• Services: Direct instruction for 10 students, consultative support for 5

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
• Valid Indiana teaching certificate with BLV endorsement (IDOE license required)
• At least one year of experience teaching visually impaired students (preferred)
• CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
