Who are UPS Package Delivery Drivers?

They are an energetic crew who drive our iconic brown trucks, delivering packages of all sizes to customers. If you enjoy physical activity, fast-paced environments, and being outdoors, this might be the perfect opportunity for you!

What do you need to succeed in this role?

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is not required, but the license type may vary by state)
• Must pass the DOT physical examination
• Strong customer service and driving skills
• Legal right to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to adhere to UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform

Full-time package delivery drivers typically work eight to ten hours per day. Work schedules may vary from Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, depending on business needs.

This is a seasonal position. It's a great opportunity to get started with UPS, potentially leading to a permanent role that offers even greater benefits! Permanent, full-time delivery drivers earn an average total compensation of $145,000 per year, which includes zero healthcare premiums, up to seven weeks of paid vacation, and paid holidays, sick leave, and option days. UPS also contributes to a defined-benefit pension plan for each employee.
