Non CDL Delivery Driver Position

Starting Hourly Pay: $18.95/hr

Potential for Increases: Pay increases after 90 days and 1 year

Schedule: Dispatch between 5-8am, Tuesday - Saturday

Requirements: DOT Medical Card required

The Non CDL Driver I is key to delivering foodservice products to our valued customers with exceptional service. You will operate a company vehicle that has a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of up to 14,900 lbs. Being part of our team means ensuring every delivery is done safely, timely, and in compliance with DOT regulations.

Essential Duties:

• Lift and manage products, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs and occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs.
• Load and unload vehicles for multiple deliveries.
• Safely transport products to customer locations, using hand trucks as necessary.
• Accurately document deliveries and process returns effectively.
• Communicate any delivery-related issues promptly to appropriate personnel.
• Ensure proper delivery, check invoices, process paperwork for damages, and collect payments if needed.
• Monitor refrigeration systems in delivery vehicles diligently.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to team success.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with no major traffic violations in the past three years.
• Commercial driving experience is welcomed, though not required. One year of multi-stop delivery experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English and basic math abilities.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays when needed.

Physical Requirements:

• This job requires frequent standing, walking, driving, and the ability to lift and carry various weights regularly.
• Ability to work outdoors and under various weather conditions.
