We are seeking a dedicated Nights Radiology Technician to join our Imaging Department at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, located at 1201 Grand. This role is critical in producing quality diagnostic medical radiographs which play a vital role in patient care.

Position Highlights:

• Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 with over 1 year of experience, $15,000 for other qualified candidates
• Schedule: Full-time Nights
• Pay Range: Starting at $26.01/hour with daily pay options available
• Night Shift Differential: Additional $3/hour for night shifts

Job Responsibilities:

As a Radiology Technician, you will:

1. Produce high-quality radiographs using appropriate techniques.
2. Document patient history and ensure physician orders are verified prior to exams.
3. Utilize C-arms and portable machines in surgical settings efficiently.
4. Supervise and mentor Radiology students during their clinical rotations.
5. Maintain a clean, safe working environment and adhere to safety protocols.
6. Participate in departmental meetings and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Completion of a Radiology Technology program
• ARRT certification (must achieve within 6 months of hire)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork

Working Conditions:

This position involves exposure to blood and bodily fluids; therefore, protective equipment will be provided. The role requires physical stamina, including prolonged standing and lifting of patients and equipment.
