New York City Delivery Driver / Dispatcher

About the Role:
As a Delivery Driver for New York City area, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their groceries and other products in a timely and efficient manner. Your primary responsibility will be to transport goods from our store to customers' homes, providing a high level of customer service throughout the delivery process. You will be expected to navigate various routes, manage delivery schedules, and handle any customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism. This position is vital in maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty, as you will be the face of our store during each delivery. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the overall success of our operations and the happiness of our customers.
Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items, up to 50 pounds.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a delivery or customer service role.
• Familiarity with the local area and efficient route planning.
• Basic knowledge of grocery products and services.
• Dispatching experience a plus!
• Computer skills a Plus!!

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport groceries and other products to customers' homes.
• Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring that items are handled with care.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including customer signatures and payment transactions.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure a safe driving environment.
