Pay Range Starts At: $26.01/hour. Daily pay available!

Shift Differentials: Available for night, weekend, and additional shifts.

Location: SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, 1201 Grand St, Louis, MO.

Job Summary:

As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, you will perform essential neurodiagnostic testing, including EEG, EP, MEG, TMS, epilepsy monitoring, and electrocorticography. You will assist in nerve conduction testing and ensure all documentation is accurately completed for departmental records and patient procedures. Participate in educational and training opportunities to enhance your skills and the skills of others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform standard and complex EEG and evoked potential recordings following established protocols.
• Summarize patient neurological status and prepare documentation for physician interpretation.
• Manage patient charge forms for timely billing and maintain records.
• Support the department in achieving its goals and contribute to new program development.
• Practice safety and infection control measures diligently.
• Deliver high-quality, courteous service to patients and team members.
• Participate in performance improvement activities within the department.
• Provide age-appropriate and specialized care to patients.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Neurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent training preferred.
• At least three years of experience in EEGs, NCVs, and EPs.
• Registered EEG Technologist or eligible within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.
