Responsible for supporting the neurodiagnostic department by facilitating workflow and assisting technologists. This position aids in various tasks such as restocking supplies, removing electrodes, and disinfecting equipment. This role ensures the smooth operation of the department by performing non-analytical duties. In addition, this position may assist Neurodiagnostic technologists as needed. Additionally, this role is expected to achieve technician proficiency and status after meeting education and experience requirements. Responsibilities for this role include facilitating workflow, assisting with supplies and equipment, ensuring smooth operations, and achieving further qualifications.

Monitors patients undergoing CEEG recording for safety, either in-room or via remote video monitoring.

Utilizes knowledge of monitoring systems and camera controls to ensure accurate observation.

Alerts nursing and technological staff when clinical seizures or other paroxysmal events occur.

Communicate with patients and bedside staff to obtain information about events and document observations.
