Nephrology Nurse Practitioner

The Providence St. Joseph Hospital - Orange has an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse practitioner to join a rapidly expanding Nephrology practice for a full-time role serving the beautiful community of Orange, California.

This is an opportunity to work directly with nationally recognized physicians and other Nephrology professionals at the number one rated kidney transplant center in California in both an inpatient and outpatient capacity.

Ideal candidates will have experience in both acute and outpatient care in nephrology as well as transplant medicine experience.

Position Details:

• Full-time role with Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. schedule
• Some weekends may be required
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient care
• Work in the rated kidney transplant center in California
• State-of-the-art facility with a multi-organ transplant center where the team performs kidney and simultaneous kidney/pancreas surgeries which allow patients to stop dialysis and insulin
• Highly supportive, hard-working and experienced team environment
• Fast-paced environment with large amount of autonomy

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation is between $160,197 to $223,718 per year
• Benefits include health, vision, dental, PTO, 401K, and more
• CME reimbursement is available
• Providence is a non-profit that qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)

The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must be a nurse practitioner licensed in the State of California
• 2 to 5 years' experience is required
• Nephrology experience in an acute and outpatient care environment is required
• Transplant Medicine experience is required
• Spanish language skills are highly preferred
