Position Description:
CGI leads a team to support and modernize multiple cloud-based systems supporting multi-agency case management using agile DevSecOps teams. We have built, maintained, and enhanced multiple solutions over the years for our client, deploying to AWS. The client repeatedly calls upon our experienced teams to address the latest challenges using new technology.
To support our growth, we need a MuleSoft Anypoint developer who is able to translate the client's processes to build new APIs in support of those processes and enhance existing APIs and processes. Understanding the importance of test driven development is key to ensure consistent quality as these are mission critical applications.
This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office two days per week.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Design and develop new process flows within MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform to automate and streamline business processes
• Participate in the execution of migrating Mulesoft Anypoint 3.x applications to version 4.x
• Analyze system logs to perform root-cause analysis of performance or infrastructure issues
• Work with other teams to coordinate integration testing across multiple (more than 3) teams
• Participate in design meetings with other projects and the client's technical specialists
• Participate in daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos, and other Agile ceremonies
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required as well as successful passing of CGI background check prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance.
• 5+ years of experience in the Information Technology field focusing on development projects using DevSecOps, DevOps, and AWS
• 3+ years of experience developing with MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform including 2+ years with Anypoint 4.x
• 3+ years of Java development
• Experience deploying applications to AWS
• Experience of RESTful API-based applications
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong communication skills
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
• Experience with software containerization
• Experience with AI/ML

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $214,800.00.
