MRI Technologist (Providence)

Job description:

Pride Health is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a Level 1 trauma center in Providence RI, with a large neuro-oncology and functional neurosurgical practice. The ideal candidate will have advanced to intermediate experience in neuro imaging, body, angiography, and musculoskeletal (MSK) MRI, including scanning patients with multiple implanted devices.

Job Details:

• This position is responsible for ensuring that all surgical instrument sets and equipment are properly maintained.
• Responsible for tracking lost and broken instrumentation and maintenance of digital records of instrumentation in the Instrument Tracking System software.
• Performs weekly missing instrument audit reports. Ensures that these responsibilities are carried out according to established directions designated in the procedure manual.
• Functions as a team member, supporting department activities, providing for optimal instrument and equipment processing.
• Functions as a patient advocate.
• Responsible for performing delegated activities to support the operating room team in the care of the surgical patient.

Skills Required-:

• Advanced to intermediate MRI experience.
• Experience with neuroimaging, body imaging, angiography, and musculoskeletal MRI preferred.
• Skilled in scanning patients with multiple implanted devices.
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center environment and neuro-oncology functional neurosurgical practice preferred.
• Familiarity with Siemens Aera 1.5T MRI system.

Certifications-:

• ARRT in MRI (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required.
• ARMRIT in MRI preferred.

Credentialing Requirements:

• COVID-19, booster, and flu vaccines required.
• Medical declination accepted only for booster vaccine.
• No religious declinations accepted.

Additional Information:

• Location: Providence RI
• Job Type: 13 weeks- local contract or travel contract
• Schedule: Days: 2nd shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM, including holiday and weekend rotations. Weekends required. No on-call responsibilities.
• Pay Range/Salary Range: $3200/wk to $3400/wk
