Overview

Sutter Health is seeking an MRI Technologist. This role will be based in Modesto, CA, with a flexible schedule option and relocation assistance available for those who qualify.

Base pay

$67.00/hr - $83.00/hr

Pay range note: The salary range for this role may vary by location and factors including experience, licensure, and department needs. Base pay is one component of the total rewards package.

Education

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
• Graduate from an accredited Magnetic Resonance Program

Certification & Licensure

• CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist
• ARMRIT - Certified MRI Technologist
• ARRT (MRI) - Radiography
• RHF - Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire if required at the affiliate

Typical Experience

• 8 years of recent relevant experience

Skills and Knowledge

• Demonstrated expertise in diagnostic MRI principles, procedures, views, and equipment; able to respond to traumas, code blues, medical alerts, STAT calls, and hospital emergencies
• Proficient in MRI examinations with an understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Strong written and verbal communication to explain information clearly to diverse audiences
• Time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and work within standard operating procedures
• Knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Office) and radiology information systems (RIS, LIS, EHR/EPIC, PACS)
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, handling multiple tasks in interruptions
• Data analysis skills to solve problems with little precedent
• Ability to propose workflow improvements to increase team efficiency
• Commitment to protecting patient PHI privacy
• Capability to build collaborative relationships with peers and healthcare providers
