Overview

Summary: Observes electrocardiogram (ECG) monitors and closed-circuit televisions (CCTV), and notifies nurses and physicians of changes to patient rate and rhythm. Provides telemetry monitoring and observes and documents the cardiac rhythm of patients.

Responsibilities

• Observe ECG monitors and CCTV; notify nurses and physicians of changes to patient rate and rhythm.
• Provide telemetry monitoring and observe and document the cardiac rhythm of patients.

Qualifications

• Education: Tech/Trade Certification; High School Diploma or GED
• Education specialization: Arrhythmia Course
• Experience: Under One Year
• Credentials: Heartsaver CPR AED
