Mold Machine Operator B

Operate molding machines to produce small and less complex wax pattern and gating components of the highest quality. Inspect, trim, and clean wax parts as required. Train less experienced operators as assigned and accurately prepare tooling dies for operation. Operate complex molding machines accurately and efficiently using technique cards and established set-up procedures to maintain quality and dimensional integrity of the product.

Responsibilities

• Operate molding machines to produce high-quality wax pattern and gating components.
• Inspect, trim, and clean wax parts as required.
• Train less experienced operators when assigned.
• Accurately prepare tooling dies for operation.
• Efficiently operate complex molding machines using technique cards and set-up procedures.

Essential Skills

• Experience with injection molding and machine operation.
• Ability to maintain quality and dimensional integrity of products.
• Mechanical inclination and willingness to learn.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Interest in growing and learning how to operate a mold machine.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
