Model Base Systems Engineer

Description

SAIC is seeking a Model Base Systems Engineering (MBSE) Engineer to support our San Diego, CA team. This is a HYBRDI/REMOTE role , must be local to San Diego, CA for onsite needs 3-4 days a week .

JOB DUTIES:

  Develop and maintain system architecture models using SysML and MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo/MagicDraw)

  n

• n

  Facilitate the development of Black Box and White Box models in accordance with DoD and NAVWAR standards

  n
n
• n

  Work closely with program engineering teams, program SMEs, and other stakeholders to identify what data is available for each program that can feed into a model

  n
n
• n

  Integrate MBSE approaches with traditional systems engineering practices and digital engineering frameworks

  n
n
• n

  Translate stakeholder requirements and system components into models

  n
n
• n

  Participate in or lead technical reviews, model-based design efforts, and system verification/validation planning

  n
n

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS :

n
• n

  Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience in systems engineering

  n
n
• n

  Must be a U.S. Citizen

  n
n
• n

  Must have an Active Secret Clearance to Start

  n
n
• n

  3 years experience in MBSE roles

  n
n
• n

  Expertise in MBSE methodologies, tools (such as Cameo/MagicDraw), and DoD acquisition processes to develop and maintain digital system models

  n
n

DESIRED SKILLS:

n
• n

  Proficiency in Cameo/MagicDraw

  n
n
• n

  Experience with SysML and formal modeling techniques including Black and White Box Models.

  n

• n

  Familiarity with DoD systems lifecycle (DoDI , JCIDS, etc.) and C4I engineering processes

  n
n
• n

  Experience supporting DoD programs (Navy and C4I experience strongly preferred)

  n
n

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
