Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Houston, TX is seeking a dynamic and talented Mobile Assessor PRN Varied 6 hours shifts (Weekdays and Weekends) to join the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Mobile Assessment Team Evaluator (Assessor) provides mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and/or hospitals, recommends the appropriate level of treatment based on the Assessors assessment of risk factors, and triages patients to appropriate services.

Qualifications

Education:

Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.

Licensure/Certification:

Current license in the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC or LPC-A), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Registered Nurse (RN).

Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital. (Customer hospital means the hospital to which BHC is contracted to provide mobile assessment services.)

Must have a valid drivers license

Experience:

Completion of appropriate internship, including the provision of individual, group or family therapy/counseling.

Experience providing individual, group and family therapy/counseling.

Mobile assessment experience preferred.
