Milling Specialist

Our client, who provides precision machining services, is needing a Milling Specialist to join their team.

Job Title: Milling Specialist   
Location: Circle Pines, MN
Pay Rate Range: $52,000 - $83,000
Shift: 1^st or 2^nd shift

What’s the Job?

• Operate and maintain CNC and manual milling machines to fabricate aerospace parts and components from metal, composites, and other materials
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to set up and run milling machines accurately
• Inspect parts using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.) to ensure they meet required tolerances and quality standards
• Set up and calibrate machines before production runs, adjusting tool settings, speeds, and feeds to ensure optimal performance

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proven experience as a mill operator in a manufacturing setting, preferable in aerospace or precision machining.
• Strong knowledge of CNC and manual milling machines, machining processes, and tooling
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Proficiency in the use of measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMM).
• Familiarity with aerospace materials and industry-specific quality standards (e.g., AS9100)
