Mild/Moderate Special Education Teacher

Location: Placentia, CA Pay Rate: $50/hour Duration: 2 months with possibility of extension Start Date: ASAP

Position Details

• Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:30 AM 3:00 PM
• Hours per Week: 6.5 hours/day
• Grade Level: Elementary
• Classroom Type: Mild/Moderate (M/M)
• Caseload/Class Size: Up to 24 students

Requirements

• Valid California Education Specialist Credential (Mild/Moderate)
• Minimum Preliminary Credential accepted
• School-based experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized academic instruction for students with mild/moderate disabilities
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education staff and families
• Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Track and report student progress toward IEP goals
