MiG Welder

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MIG Welder to join our team. This position requires expertise in welding carbon steel for steel structures, contributing to the manufacturing of metal canopies and large metal buildings.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on carbon steel for steel structures.
• Set up and operate welding machines independently.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Assist with fabrication tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

• 2-3 years of experience in MIG welding.
• Proficiency in setting up and operating welding machines.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Experience in welding carbon steel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Cross-training on metal saws is preferred.
• Experience with plasma cutting is a plus, but not required.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing environment that is hot, dirty, loud, and dusty. The facility is non-climate controlled. Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Friday from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sherman, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
