Mid-Level Endoscopy Technician

Optum is seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician Level II. About the Role:

As a Mid-Level Endoscopy Technician, you will:

• Support the care of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures in the Endoscopy suite under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist with decontaminating and preparing instruments and equipment.
• Maintain thorough documentation of high-level disinfection processes as per ASC policies.

Qualifications Required:

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited program.
• Current BLS certification.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an endoscopy technician in either an ASC or hospital setting.
• Proficient computer skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CSPD certification.
• Certified Endoscopy Technician designation.
• Experience in sterile processing.

The hourly pay for this role ranges from $20.00 to $35.72, influenced by various factors including education, experience, and local labor markets.
