Method Development Chemist

Join a dynamic team and partner with the R&D department by developing, validating, and transferring analytical methods. Due to the frequently changing product lines, new analytical methods will need to be created regularly. This role requires conceptual thinking throughout the development process, analyzing data, and adjusting to create scientifically sound methods. The primary focus areas include HPLC method development, TLC method development, and USP raw materials identification. Utilize software with access to the USP Raw Materials identification library of testing methods. Experience in regulatory processes is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate analytical methods.
• Transfer analytical methods within the R&D team.
• Create new analytical methods for frequently changing products.
• Conduct HPLC method development and TLC method development.
• Identify USP raw materials using available libraries.
• Analyze data and make necessary adjustments for method development.

Essential Skills

• Experience in method development and validation.
• Proficiency in HPLC and TLC method development.
• Knowledge of wet chemistry.
• Familiarity with USP raw materials testing and identification.
• 3+ years of experience in method development.
• Bachelors degree in Chemistry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with regulatory processes.
• Familiarity with GC, FTIR, and UV-vis instrumentation.
• Experience in a GMP contract manufacturing organization focusing on nutraceuticals and cosmetics.

Work Environment

Work in a Cosmetic and Nutraceutical CDMO environment. Enjoy a flexible schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with the possibility of altering times as needed. The role is not part of production, allowing for a more adaptable work schedule. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $50.48/hr.
