Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee and lead complex construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction management, with a preferred degree in a construction-related curriculum or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  Represent the MEP team professionally in meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal staff, ensuring clear and effective communication across disciplines.

  Lead MEP staff and trade partners with a focus on mentorship, supervision, and collaborative problem-solving.

• n

  Manage multiple, complex MEP scopes across concurrent construction projects with limited oversight, maintaining strict alignment with project schedule, budget, and quality standards.

• n

  Execute complete MEP buyouts, negotiate subcontracts and vendor agreements, ensuring contract terms, scope clarity, and risk mitigation.

• n

  Oversee MEP design review, constructability analysis, and value engineering from concept through construction, driving alignment between design intent and field execution.

• n

  Convert MEP estimates into construction budgets, track budget revisions, review material invoices, and manage subcontractor pay apps and change orders.

  Develop and manage the MEP construction sequence, coordinating closely with the superintendent to integrate trades and ensure early delivery of key systems and components.

  Collaborate with safety teams to implement and enforce site-specific plans, respond to MEP-related incidents, and promote a strong safety culture.

  Review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and field conditions, providing field support to ensure MEP systems meet contract requirements and commissioning readiness.

Essential Skills

n
• n

  Preferred 4-year degree in an accredited construction-related curriculum or equivalent experience.

  n

• n

  10 years' experience as Project Manager and/or 10-15 years of construction-related experience.

  n

• n

  Demonstrated competency in scheduling, budget/cost control, financial reporting, client relationship, interpersonal skills, computer skills, communication skills, leadership, and organizational skills.

• n

  Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedule.

  n
n
• n

  Competency in PC-based scheduling and spreadsheet applications such as Primavera, Procore, Timberline, Excel, and Word.

  n

• n

  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  n
n
• n

  LEED experience is a plus.

  n
n
