Mental Health Therapist Relief

New Jersey Mentor , a part of the Sevita family , provides Residential and Treatment Foster Care services to youth who may be facing out-of-home placements, transitioning back into the family home or independent living alternatives, or involved in the juvenile justice system. Therapist - Relief Staff

Youth Group Homes/ Host Homes

$45.00 -$50.00 per Hour

Are you passionate, self-motivated, and committed about sharing your clinical skills and knowledge with a dynamic team? We deliver an array of services by modeling activities that help to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children and families.

• Help guide the youth we serve to their fullest potential while in an out of home setting.

• Conduct sessions with the youth we serve face to face. Family therapy sessions are encouraged to be conducted face to face, but can be telehealth.

• Support the development and implementation of treatment plans

• Compose treatment plans and encourage engagement in various therapies

• Organize and lead treatment meetings through active participation

• Build and maintain positive relationships with personnel from referring/collateral agencies

• Integrate whole person care through a strength-based lens

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in human services field required

• Licensed - New Jersey Issued LSW, LCSW, LAC or LPC required

• Valid driver's license in good standing

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability to establish trust and rapport.

• Active listening skills with a focus on empathy and guidance

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• A reliable, responsible, solution-focused attitude and a compassionate approach to whole health care

• A commitment to quality in everything you do
