Responsibilities
Protect and maintain a secure psychiatric hospital environment by upholding rules and regulations for the safety of staff, patients, visitors and the facility.

• Provide patient assistance including de-escalating volatile situations and responds accordingly.
• Assist with the search, inventory, storage and return of patient property.
• Serve as a member of the crisis response team and participates/leads situational debriefs as required.
• Respond to requests for further assistance and emergent situations to assist and manage
  combative/hostile patients and situations to ensure the safety of patients and staff

Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Management of Aggressive Behavior credentialed from the Management of Aggressive Behavior Training International, Inc. preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
