Job Requirements

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field from an accredited institution
Certifications Requirements: ASCP Generalist Certification or equivalent, Licensure as required by Pennsylvania state regulations
Experience Requirements: No minimum experience required; however, ASCP Generalist experience is preferred
Other Requirements: Ability to work evening shifts, excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, good communication skills

Job Responsibilities

Coordinate and perform laboratory testing in various departments ensuring accuracy and timely results.
Maintain compliance with all safety and quality control procedures and standards.
Document test results accurately and communicate findings to healthcare providers effectively.
