Medical Surgical Unit - Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse

Shift: 6:30 PM - 5:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Acute care or LTAC exp. Work Experience 1 year of clinical patient care experience (e.g., PCT, CNA, LPN) in an acute care setting, long-term care facility, or physician practice.

Required Credentials: LPN EKG exam (will not take medication portion of normal EKG exam)

Shift & Scheduling: ETW, Every other holiday. 1 LPN for M, T, W, TH; 1 LPN for F, S, S, T.

Unit/Facility Details: Primary function is to support respiratory department.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Treatments will be given on multiple units including ICU/PCU/MS/Tele/Observation/ER.

Preferred Credentials: Cert: ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support, PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support, NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program.

7 days maximum time off
