Compensation & Incentives

• Hourly Rate: $27.69 – $42.92
• Eligible for $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
• Pension: Fully employer-paid contributions to Nevada Public Employees' Retirement System (NVPERS)
• Tax Advantage: No FICA (Social Security) tax deducted

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW or higher)
• At least 1 year of professional-level social work experience in a hospital or social services agency, or relevant internship/practicum

Additional Requirements

• Overall 3 years of acute care social work experience preferred
• Valid Nevada Social Worker License required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong grasp of counseling techniques, community resources, regulatory requirements, and discharge planning strategies
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities
• Comfort working in fast-paced, multidisciplinary clinical environments
