• Process Specimen Tubes for Send-Out Testing

Description
Will be responsible for

• Accurately perform specimen analysis
• Phlebotomy
• Specimen Collection and Processing
• Process Specimen Tubes for Send-Out Testing
• POC (point of care) Testing (iSTAT and INR)
• Maintain Specimen Integrity throughout Specimen Collection
• Run Hematology Analyzer (Sysmex XN 1000)
• Documents/Verifies Results in necessary programs (iKnowMed and Orchard LIMs)
• Work with the team to insure compliance with COLA & CLIA regulations -Manual dip stick urines

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have a 2 or 4 year degree (2 year for MLT and 4 year for Med Technologist/Scientist) -2+ years experience as an MLT or MT -2+ years of clinical lab experience -Must have some level of experience with differentials in immature cells from clinicals during school or from previous experience. -Must have ASCP certification -2+ years phlebotomy experience -2 of their sites they collect bone marrow, make slides, process the bone marrow and send it out to reference labs

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $33.00/hr.
