Our client, a leading healthcare organization dedicated to improving patient outcomes, is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to join their team. As a Medical Equipment Technician, you will be an essential part of the biomedical service department supporting the maintenance and repair of critical medical devices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to service and safety standards, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Pay Range: $19 an hour

Shift: Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Diagnose issues and faults with a variety of bio-medical equipment, including life support ventilators and respiratory devices.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance checks, repairs, and updates to ensure equipment safety and performance standards are met.
• Verify the functionality of equipment after service to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Maintain detailed records of all services, tests, and repairs conducted.
• Stay current with the latest developments and best practices in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair.

What's Needed?

• Relevant technical certification or credential (credential ID: 100005).
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting biomedical equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
